First of all, my Specs:
KFa2 Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB OC, Ryzen 5 2600 six-core, A320M-K motherboard,
16Gb DDR4 Ram (dual channel) HyperX 3200 mhz, 2x SSD 120 GB, 1x 1TB HDD
Despite this relatively good hardware, I have in games like Fortnite and Cs: go break in short FPS, which sometimes can be up to 40 frames. This feels very uncomfortable (not least, since I play on 144hz). I have no energy saving mode in there and all drivers are up-to-date, BIOS is freshly updated…
What about the utilization and temperature of the components? With what program do you read out the FPS?
I read the frames using MSI Afterburner. From my RAM 5907 mb are used… The GPU runs at 1924MHz and 51 degrees Celsius and does not come over 50%.
My MEM is at 4007 MHz (I do not even know what it means) and my CPU is busy at 3725 Mhz to 21%.
D3D9 always shows FPS over 150 … So should not really be a problem with 144hz. The only thing I can occasionally observe is; sometimes the frimes of 3 jump to 5-8.
Based on the information, you then have no frame breakages
