I have had the problem for 2 days when I start Fortnite that my laptop immediately gets a blue screen. The first time I had Google and Fortnite on and when I switched from Google to Fortnite it happened.

So I reinstalled Fortnite from scratch but the problem remains. Now and then it works that you can start.

The problem is not the game, but rather your computer. Possibly. Too little power or something is defective on your computer. It can also be that your research is completely overloaded and then hangs up. This blue screen occurred to me once in a while, but not because I wanted to start a game, but because my computer suddenly hung up by itself. The computer almost stopped, the mouse could not be moved and this blue screen appeared shortly afterwards.

In the picture above you can see that there's a loading screen. Something happens there too

Or

It loads to 100% and it restarts automatically

Or

The laptop actually has enough power

Jo

Then your computer may have certain quirks or is somehow defective. Something like that only happens when the computer is completely overloaded or is possibly defective. That can't be due to the game alone. The problem must be more with the computer. Otherwise send it in or bring it for repair and have it inspected there.

Or

Yes, I will do it, only in 1-2 weeks hope by then it will be done by itself. But I will try to reinstall Windows first before I send it then have to wait a long time, I need it for university.

A problem on the computer does not solve itself. Already checked the computer for various errors, there were certain signs of errors ect. Something like that would have been very helpful in your question. First of all, check for yourself what that might be, then do some research on Google and only ask for help if you don't get any further yourself. Otherwise, ask for https://www.computerbase.de/ there, someone can certainly help you more than here.

po

Without more precise information on what this could possibly be, such as certain problem diagnosis overview ect. Nobody can help you with this, so to speak. The problem could be

the graphics card
the mainboard
the hard drive
ect.

lie. I think I would first do a computer check, collect certain data, look through it and go to Google to find out what companies could possibly do there. Only with 2 pictures and 1-2 reasons why the problem occurs is in my view insufficiently explained or in your question there's simply insufficient information about your computer or about the particular problem occurring.

In addition, you can tell that you haven't made yourself smart and have checked your computer for errors. Already there you can see immediately what that might be. There are also enough programs where you can download.

Insufficient information about the problem or computer means inaccurate explanation of the problem.

Jo

I see that just as much as you do.

Ly

I can't do anything with the 2 pictures.

Problem with graphics card / graphics driver

dxgmms2.sys = DirectX

Some time-string years (1987, 2027, 2047, 2095 etc.) have a date which makes no sense, unless the Windows clock / BIOS clock was adjusted or received a wrong time signal from Microsoft servers…

Usually the date is e.g. SO off:

The laptop actually has enough power

How old is he? Has deisef ever been cleaned inside the radiator if it is older than 2 years?

Jo

As mentioned, the FS simply did not provide enough information in its question. One could have long puzzled as to what that might be. The problem is many.

Yes,

but that with the time strings is very strange, I've never seen them like this before

Jo

That might. True, but that is still not conclusive as to what the problem might be. Even in a forum like this https://www.computerbase.de/ this would definitely be too little information. With something like that you always do an error check yourself on your computer before looking for help in a forum.

If I have a problem with my computer, I always systematically check or check all points in the system. For example, I always check the graphics card, graphics driver or generally all other drivers, then I check the mainboard, then the hard drive, the BIOS etc. If my computer didn't find any errors, I scan my computer for Trojans, general viruses or spyware etc. The problem can certainly be found somewhere. The problem alone can't just be the game, I've never had something like that before. The base of such problems is always the computer.
