Fortnite is lagging despite good hardware?

Although my hardware should be more than enough for Fortnite, I sometimes have very strong lags. On the one hand it says in the task manager that while I play everything below 50% is almost not at full capacity but it still lies and on the other hand I can't set the FPS limit above 60 because it jerks / lay more, and I also have already screwed the settings down a bit so that everything stays below 50% in the task manager, but it was still often. Is that normal or does anyone know what?

ta

Yes internet

Sl

Write your hardware in…

Mi

And what about COD Warzone?

Af

AMD Ryzen 5 3600

AMD RX5700xt Red Devil

MSI B450 Tomahawk Max

G skill tridentZ RGB 16GB 3200 MhZ

512GB NVME SSD
1TB HDD

BeQuiet 500W power supply

Af

I don't play xd

Af

Why should the FPS drops be on the Internet and that is usually not bad, so the ping is normal according to the in-game display and I rarely have packet losses while playing

Mi

Other games for comparison?

Mi

But it should really run smoothly. Are you also using the correct graphics card and not the internal one?

Af

No idea if this is comparable but Valorant or LOL work well.

Af

To what extent or where would I see that?

Mi

Control Panel → System → Device Manager → Graphics Card → and deactivate the internal graphics card there

So

A Ryzen 5 3600 has no graphics unit…

Af

Oh so in the device manager there's only the 5700xt otherwise no

So

Do you have this problem all the time or only sometimes?

Af

Constantly actually. So I have the game currently on ca mid / high settings and 3D only at 70% so that it is reasonably tolerable and lured to 60FPS and additionally V-Sync and multithread rendering and still lies or jerky it persists or always in short distances. If I also set the FPS to e.g. If I want to lure 120 it gets worse so it jerky every 2 seconds or so although the specs should be good enough and my monitor also has 144HZ FullHD: [

Ba

What hardware do you have and have you tried V-Sync?

What about the temperatures and the drivers?

So

Have you made all updates, including those of your drivers?

Af

Already in the device manager everyone is up to date as it is there

So

Well, normally you don't use the device manager, but the Radeon software.

Af

I also installed it or is there a driver update department in Radeon SW?

Mi

Okay, then it's not the mistake. What else can I think of are drivers?

Af

Graphics drivers should actually be the latest according to the device manager and I can update the radeon software, but it says optional, so I don't think any update is necessary

So

You would have to check that yourself, I have no overview. I had my last AMD graphics card over five years ago.
