It always appears to me "installation failed" on. I think this is only compatible with 6gb for the gtx 1060
It is a driver for all cards. 3gb or 6gb makes no difference, it's the same chip. Irgenwas is not right with dienem PC

Speak universally for all cards from GTX 600 generation up to current RTX 2080ti.
There's no driver specifically for the 1060 3GB.

I have already several times. I have previously uninstalled the 417.35 version and now the screen is pixelated and gestreched and this installation will always fail. I'm in pretty bad shape
Did you uninstall the old driver with DDU and restart your PC after uninstalling?

Yes, do it with DDU. That really does not remove everything, a normal uninstall.
