Following problem:
I bought a PC and do not achieve the performance that I was supposed to achieve, e.g. Ixh In CoD Warzone only 50-70 instead of 100-120 fps and in Fortnite only 100 instead of 170, which is around 40% less performance than the PC should have.
PC Specs:
Cpu: Ryzen 5 2400G
Gpu: Gtx 1660Ti Kfa2
Mainboard: Asus Prime-A320MK
Ram: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 3200mhz
Housing: Coolermaster Masterbox H500
Power supply: Coolermaster Masterwatt Lite 600Watt
P.S. The standard cooler is installed on the CPU
Where did you get the reference values from?
The cpu is not the yellow of the egg, the FPS numbers are fine. The CPU slows you down in the cases.
Where did you get your expectations from?
Where do the reference values come from?
How much GB of RAM are installed
From YouTube
The values come from YouTube and 16GB Ram are installed
Have a video?
I can't find one with 2400g and 1660ti.
here e.g. But he also only has 100 FPS with the 2400g.
I have expectations from YT, there people achieve significantly more fps. Are you sure that my CPU in games such as Fortnite already slowing down?
And there someone built and tested the exact same PC. Do you have the exact framework conditions, such as room temperature, exactly the same CPU (not the type but the one from the video, since all CPUs are somewhat different in strength)?
Do you have a link? Sure they don't have another CPU or anything?
Yes, definitely pay at such high FPS.
Yes, but I think Ryzen 5 1600 is comparable.
With 2400G you won't find anything because there are better ones for the price. I only have the processor because my PC was an upgrade PC before and I needed good Apu / internal graphics
No, but I don't think there's a 40% difference from the room temperature, the general conditions etc.
That's clear where is the video, where was it tested?
The 1600 has 6 cores 12 threads of your 4 cores 8 threads that makes the difference.
It also has 100 fps, but my graphics card is significantly more powerful than his (to go to the link)
It does not matter, the cpu is 100% busy, there's no better GPU.
The 1600 is absolutely not comparable.
I don't know exactly and I'm not a professional, but I think my CPU should e.g. Not so strict in Fortnite, I don't think it makes a difference there.
Does that mean with a new CPU I would achieve more performance
Which would be recommended if so?
e.g. This video would be there to watch
I definitely think so.
If in doubt, look at how high the CPU usage is when playing. If the CPU usage is close to 100%, then your CPU is definitely the problem.
I would recommend 2600x or 3600. Don't know if you can fully meet expectations without overclocking.
The CPU utilization is actually not that high and the graphics card utilization is almost 100%, so it would be strange if it is due to the CPU…
If I have a PC with the same processor here at home, I would test my graphics card tomorrow
Would be an idea.
So if the graphics card is busy, it is actually rather unlikely.
What resolution anyway?
Play on Full HD / 1080p
If it is still important, I have connected a second monitor to the mainboard HDMI port and the internal graphics are deactivated, however the second monitor works
The GPU is stronger, a different processor is installed. Nothing to compare. It's like apples and pears!
I see the link from the benchmarks below.
A Ryzen 7 3700X is clearly installed there.
How do you think a Ryzen 5 2400G could keep up with a Ryzen 7 3700X?
In addition, your current CPU is a strong bottleneck and the GPU can't reach its full potential.
I recommend a Ryzen 5 2600/3600.
With the 2600 I would bissl OCen.
greeting
Edit: I see you have an A320 chipset, i.e. You can forget to overclock.
Thanks, then I will probably have to replace the CPU…
Never thought the games were CPU-heavy
No problem.
