I would like to get a new graphics card because my R9 290 is too old. I actually wanted to buy the RTX 2060 but then I read that the RTX 2060 Super is there. Is the difference really that big? I do not care about this Raytracing and 4k I just want to be able to play smoothly 1080p, 144fps (Fortnite and CSGO). Maybe there's something better than the RTX 2060 for the same price if someone knows how to help please.

Then reach for AMD. The RX 5700 XT costs 419 euro, just as much as the RTX 2060 Super just without raytracing. For this you have the AMD graphics card more power, if you do not need Raytracing, this is the better choice.
Can you look at benchmarks on YT or something? There are direct comparisons of the two cards. You can then judge for yourself whether the surcharge is worthwhile.
An RX5700 XT would be better. But there would be waiting for the custom designs.
