Change Fortnite Hz in the Config File?

I have a 240Hz monitor. It also shows in the display settings that it is 240Hz, but I have the feeling that Fortnite only shows 60Hz. I feel like I have pasted another config file into the fortnite folder. What can I do to make Fortnite run again with 240hz as it was before repleacing the config file? Is there in the Congif file somewhere a setting that I have to change to 240Hz?

Thanks in advance to anyone who writes answers.

Start in fortnite v-sync and if your fps are lured to 240fps you know that 240hz are currently on and if it's 60fps then it's 60hz

There are multiple possibilities:

Wrong cable: Some cables are unable to display more than 60Hz.
VSYNC Enabled: Limits the FPS.

Look on YouTube for something like that, but it works the way you overwrote the file. Maybe you can see what, how you can undo it then. I hope this is understandable otherwise, delete this folder once and restart Fortnite. If it does not work, delete the folder again and reinstall the game.

Otherwise look for the V-sync settings

You can delete VSync. Because it limits the Fps on the refresh rate of the screen, and this would be 240Hz if he has true 240Hz.

The cable is Display Port 1.4 and supports 240Hz. The online Ufo Hz test also shows 240Hz. Must be something with the config file or something else where I hindenke not yet. And if I activate vsync stands with the Fps 242.

If I make vsync there's 242 fps. Should I prefer vsync on or off?

Er

The game shows no Hz at the Hz are the frequency of the monitor, the game only delivers FPS

The idea to delete the file and then restart the game is really good idea. Then he generates a new one, which will cleanse the standard settings and orientate itself on the monitor and set accordingly to 240hz.

Ma

That was the idea - although it does not work, I do not know, but it has worked on some other games

Bi

Turn off vsync if you want lower input

Mi

I have a 144 Hz monitor. If this can't be achieved extensively, V-SYNC limited to 120 or at games where I have only about 70 FPS, to 60 FPS.
