Pc freezed in games?

Maybe someone can help me here. I think one or the other PC nerd will surely be found here. Unfortunately, I don't know my way around very well myself.

Following problem.

My PC crashed or freezed in certain games mostly 1-2 times a day. There are also days when everything runs normally. But when it happens, my 3 screens (2 times 144 Hz and 1 time 60 Hz) briefly get different colors and the music continues a little longer and then ends.

Then I have to press the reset button and restart the PC and then it works again. The funny thing is it only ever happens in loading screens. Either before the round starts or afterwards. It's never been in the middle of the game. I also noticed that in some games it doesn't appear at all and in others it does.

For example a lot of Fortnite was played. It didn't happen a single time in several hundred hours. And my second main game is Dead by Daylight and it happens every day. Fortnite is very CPU heavy as far as I know and with dead by daylight the GPU is more stressed.

I suspect a GPU problem, but as I said, I'm a loaner for Pc's.

I will still list my hardware here. I haven't tried much because I'm not very familiar with it. I have already updated the drivers for gpu several times. DP cable and HDMI cable were swapped. I also tried to run only one monitor and tried both of them. I have de and reinstalled the games that cause problems (Dead by daylight and call of duty) and also tried to repair the files. And the GPU with afterburner next to it, but nothing in my opinion that is noticeable.

I hope someone has advice because I'm slowly desperate.

I'm grateful for any help

Can be a temperature problem.

Bo

Get yourself MSI Afterburner and take a look at the temperatures while gaming. Dead by Daylight draws more power. You can also install Prime 95 to check the temperatures under load

Ma

OK thanks. GPU actually runs at about 70 degrees when gaming. I think that's okay, right?

Ma

Thanks for the tip. But I've already done it. Was now in my opinion nothing remarkable. GPU is around 70 degrees. Just had a freeze and happened to look at the temperature. 69 degrees

What about the CPU? Sry was on vacation xD
