I exchanged my GeForce GTX 750 Ti with the RX 470 yesterday and only problems. If I e.g. Start Fortnite or CoD Warzone the whole computer hangs. Or maybe it could be the power supply? Because I still connected a 10 year old there, which was 500 watts (had a 350 watt power supply before).
Yes Is compatible
The power supply is fully ok - with 500 watts - maybe a driver problem?
How do I find out?
AMD driver installed? Power cable connected to the graphics card?
You must download and install AMD drivers from the AMD website
Check the drivers in Device Manager
I did everything.
The best drivers are already installed.
Is the card also in the Pcie 3.0 x16 slot?
Install a benchmark test program like 3Dmark or let it run. If it crashes, it is the hardware that fails.
Uninstall the driver of the Nvidia BEFORE
Then install the AMD and then install the latest drivers.
Possibly. Reinstall games because they are mostly optimized for the old graphics chip and often skid after a GPU replacement.
