Moin, I recently bought a new PC that is doing really well, except when it comes to recording games (Fortnite for example). It's basically always the same, basically everything runs smoothly but it always comes to about 3 still images per 10 minutes of recording, which last about 1-2 seconds, but are visible only in the recording. I have already tested with 3 recording programs: GeForce Experience, OBS and Action. Do I have to stop something? Is it the system? (Unlikely because it's a very popular configuration) I can't find any information on the internet. Help is very much appreciated.
My components:
RTX 2060
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Asrock B450M Pro4
Gskill 16gb memory
All drivers are up to date.
Just watch the CPU and RAM usage when recording in Task Manager. If these are noticeably higher than usual. If you have a program that draws too much power, you may need to change the recording program
Change encoder
Maybe Windows game mode enabled? It may well be that it blocks your recording program.
