Today I have changed my streched resolution (1279x1080) but since then my monitor is always in standby as soon as I set Fullscreen, no matter which resolution I choose. However, if I go back to 1920x1080 and full screen in the window everything is quite normal? What can I do now?

Why do you want to ask for 4: 3 format? It may be that your PC has problems with it, because the monitor does not support this format natively!
