I have a PC where I play. Installed is a GTX1080, AMD Ryzen 2700X and 16gb RAM. However, I have in Fortnite in medium settings only a maximum of 100FPS. Although I play on a 4k monitor, but should not come there anymore. Also in GTA V I have problems. I was able to play GTA V in the highest settings, it does not work anymore. I had to put down the settings extremely so I come to the 60FPS. My current assumption is that my hard drives would have to be renewed. I'm not sure about that.

Did you try updating your video driver? Look at the Device Manager if your hardware is recognized correctly or if you can update something there.

Is your PC new? Was it normal? If your PC is new, it could possibly be a defect on your GPU.
At what resolution do you play? In 4k you should not expect too much. Compare your fps times with benchmarks.

Install MSI Afterburner and look at all workloads and temperatures. The graphics card should run at almost 100%, then everything is fine.
