I have heard over and over that if you play Fortnite on a 144hz monitor, the best thing to do is set Gsync to 141fps. Can someone explain to me whether this is of any use and if so, what?
So, your monitor has 144hz which means that the monitor displays a new image 144x per second.
If your graphics card now only delivers 60fps in some situations, you would have the problem that your monitor shows some images of your graphics card 2 or 3 times in succession in order to have 144 images per second.
G-synk ensures that the monitor shows the fps, means:
If you have 120fos, your monitor shows 120 frames per second
At 60fps, it shows 60 frames per second.
This reduces lag
I only know that in the fortnite files and in the nvidia driver the fps are lured to 237 (at 240hz monitor), that should reduce the input lag
In that case, I don't need that at all, my graphics card always delivers 400fps in Fortnite
Then I would activate "v sync" in the fortnite settings.
