Freesync has stopped working?

I bought the AOC Agon AG241QX. This is officially supported by Nvidia as Gsync compatible. In the beginning everything went well. However, Freesync only doesn't work anymore with Fortnite. However, it still works in other games. What can that be?

Maybe you activated v-sync?

V-sync was on yes. But it didn't work yesterday either and I had v-sync. I switched on vertical synchronization in 3d settings and now it works.
