I own a ryzen 5 2400g with the rx 580 and the 144hz monitor with amd freesync the aoc g2460pf. My proplem is that I almost constantly bildraten of over 144hz in fullhd in fortnite educate, but partly it lies completely. I enabled freesync but it does not help. Do I have to adjust anything on the monitor why freesync does not spark. I have a dp cable connected yes

Freesync or Vsync has nothing to do with the number of FPS displayed.

If you have drops, you'll need to lower the graphics settings, or figure out what causes the drops, and then fix the problem or get better hardware components.

ea

The hardware components are totally sufficient for 200fps on low graka settings in fullhd that is not the proplem! But I often drops the monitor 1.2 seconds just stops, so I with 5.10 fps games a short time later I have again on 144hz and freesync should minimize such jerks at least

tr

As I said, this has nothing to do with the monitor and freesync.

Likely afterloader. Either Ram or Vram is running full or your hard drive is too slow.

But it can also be due to high temps.

Yes the graka gets hot up to 80 degrees

First time, Hz is not equal to FPS. Your monitor is always 144Hz, even if the graphics card delivers only 1fps.

Freesync I would disable that does not help with such problems.

Fortnite is currently causing problems for many people. My brother also has these FPS drops and me too, although the frame rate is always fairly consistent. I would just tap on a mistake in the game. How often do these drops occur?

Which operating system do you use?

If Windoof which version (1703,1706,1803,1809, etc.)

Which driver is used (version number)?

Where does the problem occur (name of the program together with the version number)

What do you mean with dp cable?

The less information you have, the less you can help. So if you are stingy with information, you can't blame yourself!
