I'm currently considering upgrading from a 128GB SSD (still have a 1TB HDD) to 500 GB or 1TB, as it is almost full. I mainly play Fortnite (I enjoy it, I didn't have it unnecessarily), which is not on the SSD and have some problems, such as being late in the round, the world not fully loaded when I'm in it, sometimes not can hit and more. If I had a large SSD, Fortnite would fit on it and the SSD would not be almost full (slows down the PC). What exactly would a large SSD bring me? 500GB or 1TB? Should I rather top up something else?
More memory, then uninstall Fortnite and change the installation path in Epicgameslauncher to the new SSD with lots of memory and then reinstall Fortnite.
And the delay in getting round is (most likely) due to your internet connection.
Write your PC components here and test your internet connection with a speed test
So you can assume that the game will be completely different when it is loaded once it is on an ssd. In the near future, however, we will not be able to tell you which storage space you will need. In theory, the more the better in the long run. But you don't have to remove the existing ssd because you have to leave it in there. In that case, a 500 GB SSD might be sufficient.
Can you have about 3 memories in it?
Sounds like it lacks something else.
I would take a 1tb in addition to the 120gb because you can just load a lot more games quickly and so on but 620 is enough and a ne 1tb hdd if you don't hate one.
Arrives on your mainboard
I have 6 plates in it.
If your mainboard / power supply allows it. In most cases, yes.
The hard drives are only limited by your SATA connections on the MB (high-end boards have up to 10 pieces). You can also run hard drives in a raid so that they only need a SATA connection.
Do I have to open the PC to see this?
Which MB do you have? So mainboard.
You might also see it in the bios or UEFI.
I used to have a bad screen, it was always fine, now with WQHD I always come in late
Is the game jerky otherwise?
Only when the world is loading or another part or at internet lags
I would do the following:
Buy a 1TB SSD (they are always available for less than 90 euro from Media Markt, Saturn or Conrad. Alternatively, you can of course order one on Amazon such as MZ-76Q1T0BW)
Use the 128 SSD only with Windows and move / install everything else on the new SSD.
This means that in the event of a total failure of your system, you will not lose all data but can simply flatten your Windows SSD and set it up again. If you are not sure about the installation or do not know how to do it, then either ask a friend / relative or check YouTube for tutorials. This is really easy and done in 2 minutes.
I only have an SSD installed in my computer. That's a nice thing, so the loading times are always short. Depending on the game, that makes a difference. You just have to do a little more with the storage.
Depending on how many games you install, 500 GB is enough.
But have a 1GB HDD and my mainboard can only have 2 memories
Added my question
What is most lacking? (added my question)
There it is.
SATA II connectors 2 x
SATA III connectors 2 x
Should be 4.
OK
And I'm surprised that there's still sata 2.
Could also be 4
Mainboard is from 2015
Updated my question regarding hardware and internet
Yes, mine is from 2010 and has 8 Sata III.
But it is already possible.
So should I make the 2SSDs on SATA 3 and HDD on SATA 2?
Your mainboard has 2xSATA 6GB / s and 2xSATA 3GB / s.
This means that you have a total of 4 connections for hard drives.
In this case, you should connect the SSDs to these two with 6GB / s and your HDD to the one with 3GB / s.
So at least you get the most out of the ssds.
You forgot the ram
Thank you
