I5 9400f or i5 9600k?

Hello I'm thinking of buying one of these CPUs but I can't make up my mind so I play fortnite and want to have lag-free 144fps (have a gtx 1660) besides I cut videos for me lag-free 144fps but does the i5 9400f do that? I have an i3 9100f degree, if there's a better cpu it writes to me but it should be in the budget

Alternatively you can use a ryzen 5 3600. The 10600k is definitely the best i5 in years.

For the 1151 v2 socket it will be difficult to recommend something to you. The i5 9400f should be better than the 9600k in terms of price-performance. An i7 9700 (k) cuts a fine figure for cutting and gaming. But spending that high on an outdated platform is no longer worth it.
