So I need a new monitor
Before that I had one in Full HD 27 "144FPS, after that I switched to Full HD 24" 240FPS. I didn't notice any particular difference between 144FPS and 240FPS.
Now I want to sell both and get a monitor with a higher resolution. Which monitor would make sense for me? The PC should at least at the high resolution. Create 144FPS. I mostly play Fortnite, Valorant and GTA5. Would a WQHD monitor be better or a 4k monitor directly?
My PC has the following components:
Ryzen 7 3800x (Custom watercooled)
Currently RX 5700XT (will be exchanged for an RTX 3080)
Price should be a maximum of 800 euro.

Whether the PC manages at least 144fps does not depend on the monitor.
I have the XB271HU. WQHD, 165Hz, IPS, G-Sync. It's also at 700 euro, but you can very often get it in the sale for 500 euro.
800 euro for the monitor? The Asus ROG PG259QN with 360hz and 1ms will soon be available for around 700 euro. 😄 Or even better, the PG259QNR.
The monitor apparently has a problem with response time (according to the reviews) and therefore a no go for me
