I would like to have a new (gaming) PC because mine is from 2001 (INTEL 2 Duo Core or something) and runs on linux (you can hardly do anything with it).
The Pc I want costs 199 euro is used and of course I pay myself. (Details on the Pc below)
All of my friends also have gaming PCs.
How should I persuade my parents?
Just want to keep using Office, Among Us, Discord etc. On it
PC data: (from the one I want)
Intel Core I5 3550
Nvidia Geforce GTX 760
4Gb RAM
500Gb HDD
Here is the ad on Ebay KL:
I offer a computer that plays games like Fortnite, CS: GO etc. Fluently. Windows 10 is installed. Collection or shipping is possible in each case. There's an additional charge of 8.49 euro for shipping.
Most important hardware:
Intel Core I5 3550
Nvidia Geforce GTX 760
4Gb RAM (but can also make more pure after consultation)
500Gb HDD (requests for more storage or an SSD can be expressed)
Please COME WITH ' THE PC IS BAD '' OR SO
PS: I'm 12
150 euro for a PC is very little. Just tell your parents that you can, for example, also go to school…
There are no more current updates for yours. That is far too unsafe and some programs to learn will soon no longer run at all. (Did the teacher say so too?)
Hold my ipad…
Oh and: the PC is booked, we will pick it up when it is
There are none to learn on linux (i.e. The ones we use in school)
Say that you can't work so well with Linux because the school is also on Windows.
But what should be clear to you: You don't get a gaming PC for 150 euro…
The price is okay and for Discord etc. Should be enough but I can't promise you that Among Us will run 100% smoothly. Especially not if you don't buy it but (as many do) play via Bluestacks…
Then that's a great argument. This will become more and more important for you, especially in the next few years.
It's OK. But you have to have 4GB Ram! You definitely expand to at least 8gb. But would bargain down. 200 euro is too much. 100-150 euro would be appropriate. For over 150 euro there are better setups (build yourself).
You should also retrofit an SSD, which is another +50 euro so that it is usable.
At the age of 12 you are free to choose if you want to buy a computer, but your parents can limit the use.
The price / performance ratio seems to be a bargain now, but it could turn out to be in need of an upgrade. Then it will be more than 150 euro because it should already be an SSD and an HDD and the processor and the rest are tailored to the mainboard.
Conclusion: You can buy it, but you can only use it with the permission of your parents.
Bluestacks doesn't work for me anyway.
