Low FPS despite a gaming PC?

I have a particular concern in the game Fortnite. I play at 50-100FPS consistently. My PC has the NVIDIA Rtx 2080 Super EX and an i7 9700K, MSI MPG Z390.
my monitor is from Alienware with 240Hz g sync. Especially when it gets hectic, the game jerks despite the good hardware! I definitely need help from a few connoisseurs.

Could be due to another PC component, how about, for example, with RAM and power supply?

vo

Power supply delivers enough power? It may well be that components are not getting enough juice while clocking.

So the power supply should actually be sufficient. When I open the Task Manager, the power consumption shows very strong. Have the PC plugged in via a power strip?! Is there anything else I can do to check it out?

oc

But actually I should definitely get more FPS with the components or not? Got 32GB of RAM to answer the question above

As I said, I have 32GB of RAM. Power supply should actually be sufficient. A colleague subjected the PC to a stress test and also observed the power load and it was ok

I just have a few more suggestions that could fix the problem:

- Update drivers

-System temp. Monitor / check

-Graphic setting, etc. Check / change in the game (this does not mean a lower setting but changing certain additional settings that may lead to stuttering (DX11 / 12 etc.))

-close any background programs

and as I said with the power supply, maybe take a closer look at how much it delivers and what your PC needs (maybe it is out of date or so.)

I'll check the points. Hopefully there can be an improvement 💪🏼 Thank you!
