I'm about to buy a PC for Fortnite, I have a budget of 500-600 euro. I'm just wondering which is better for Fortnite, have 2 options. Once: AMD Ryzen 5 2600, XFX Gaming RX580 8GB GDDR5, 8GB 3200MHz DDR4, 128GB SSD 750 HDD and Option 2: i7-4790k, gtx970 msi gaming 4g in sli, ddr3 16gb ram, hdd 2TB, SSD 500GB, would both for Get 600 - 550. Which is more suitable only for Fortnite on low settings, so rather competitive area

Why 2TB hdd? I would simply save until I would get 900/1000 euro. Would be smartest.
Are PC's from old colleagues, need only constant 120-140 FPS on low settings in Fortnite so think 500-600 euro are enough

At Fortnite, the performance of a single GTX 970 only differs by approx. 5% from a Radeon RX 580. I wouldn't do SLI to myself, as it would with System # 2.
With both cards you should be able to easily achieve an average of 140 to 150+ FPS in 1080p @ low details if the CPU does not limit.
In low-quality settings, the Ryzen 5 - 2600 and i7-4790K should not do much without an OC, since Fortnite hardly uses more than 4 cores.
However, I would like to point out that there are now even brand new systems with Ryzen 5-2600, Geforce GTX 1660Super, 8 GB DDR4 and 240 GB SSD for 600 euro.
Therefore, your buddy with System # 1 should be priced accordingly depending on the previous period of use in his possession.

Then go to mommy crying Fortnite is long gone with hype just because little children are not allowed to play anything else. How size streamer / YouTuber make money they take advantage of it. If you haven't checked that Fortnite is garbage. You can't help such people.
