GamingPC less than 500 euro recommended?

I would like to buy a gaming PC soon. I've already asked a question about this, but I got the answer that it makes more sense to wait a bit because I would only really need it in a few months.

To get to the point, I was thinking of a price budget of approx. 400 euro, because I also saw in the YouTube video of the channel "HardwareDealz" that there was a lot of performance. However, it is said (also here on good question) that there are not good under 500 euro, some even speak of 900 euro. That's just too expensive for me at the moment, because I'm still a student and I don't earn any money myself.

So, I get for, let's say, 500 euro only "future-unsafe junk" which I have to replace after 2 years at the latest or I get something reasonable for it (I refer to the following aspects: 40-50FPS in games like Fortnite, Rocket League or Move or die; retrofittability if something breaks, not too loud / hot)?

I would also build it myself, since I have now learned that this is a lot cheaper.

Thanks for reading and I hope for helpful comments!

I would recommend https://hardwarerat.de/...a-ssd?c=78 because everything here is designed to be future-proof and you get a good middle class mainboard and all components in good quality.

As a minimum you should use https://hardwarerat.de/...a-ssd?c=78, but here you only have 8 GB RAM, which you can replace later. Only the mainboard is unfortunately very old and from a not so good manufacturer.

If you save even more, (under 500) you have to throw away almost everything in 2 years…

Thanks for the quick answer, that's something helpful! Could you read my edit again? I subsequently added another example. Is that okay?

Because of the Youtube video: I have no desire to watch 10 minutes and all the time just waiting for where the list of components finally comes.

If you want an assessment, please name the components you are thinking of. 😊

Wait, forget my last comment, I saw you could open it below!

So the PC in the YouTube video is almost as good as the PC-640 that I linked.

If you can get these components for EUR 500 and assemble them yourself, that would be perfect!

Only the graphics card, the MSI RX 580 was very bad as a manufacturer https://www.mindfactory.de/...73132.html or Sapphire.

I would order all of this from Mindfactory…

You can get Win 10 very cheaply at MMOGA.

PS: With Ryzen 1600/2600 and RX 580 you can play all games in high settings with 60 FPS.

Small games like Fortnite also in Ultra with 80 FPS.

I'm sorry!

Does Mindfactory have an advantage over Amazon?

mi

At Amazon, PC parts are usually more expensive, and at Amazon there are some shortcomings in the treatment of employees. Mindfactory is a good German shop, and postage free shipping is available from midnight.

But of course order as you like it best… 👍
