Pc less power than it should actually have?

I have a very important question for me and my PC (RTX2060S ryzzen5 2600x) has less power than it should have. In games such as Fortnite I have a lot less FPS than in YouTube videos benchmarks but in all other games this is also the same as e.g. In WW2 and GTA 5. That makes me very sad because I just want to play but this problem bothers me a lot.

My power supply cable has a loose connection whenever I touch it, it makes it shudder and you can see sparks. Could it be because the PC is getting too little power?

I would be very happy to receive answers

My power supply cable has a loose connection whenever I touch it, it makes me shudder and you can see sparks

Ever got the idea to swap that out? I would strongly recommend you.

Ni

What kind of settings do you play with, what do you compare with and what background programs do you have running?

Ni

This is a cold device cable. It probably just has to put it in a little harder.

sk

If there are sparks, it looks more like a broken cable.

Ma

Background programs mostly chrome Browser and Discord play in Fortnite on low settings and I play other games on high

no

And soon after a broken PC.

Ma

I'll try it out right away

Ni

I want the link to the video and your exact settings and not a Wischi Waschi answer.

Ma

How can i buy a new one for my model

Ni

I doubt the sparks visually. The cold device plug briefly gives signs of life when plugged in is quite normal.

sk
Ma

Thank you very nice I have now put it deeper just wasn't quite inside

Ma

I just pushed in my power supply cable more tightly because it wasn't in the right place, now it's in the right place, it may be because of it

Ma

The cable that is not properly plugged in may be the reason that I have less FPS

Ma

Can that have been the reason for the FPS drops

Ni

No

Ni

Nope

Ma

What can you do then

Ma

Do you have discord where i can show you my settings more precisely

wo

Well hello Maxim!

Download the "Ryzen Master" software. You can then set Over Clocking (O.C.) until the "box smokes".

My tip as an electrician: stay away from the Sprazzel power supply!

Then go for the FPS!

wo

Guggst YOU.

Have tested it several times.

Ma

Thank you very much, look at this right away

Ma

Thanks but that's because of the processor

Ma

The power supply is all good again, the cable just wasn't completely inside

wo

Well

I have two Ryzen5 2600X and you can clock them with water cooling stably higher than specified by AMD. One even up to 4.4 GHz on all 6 cores.

What kind of mainboard do you have?

Ma

I have the msi b450 A per Max board

wo

That's especially ideal for the Ryzen5 2600X.

The ideal combination with the RTX 2060Super.

Perhaps the little Chrinskistlein will bring you a nice new power supply with a lot of "steam". In addition DDR4 3000 (CL14) purely. Preferably 4x 8GB bars.

And do a benchmarking without streaming.

If you haven't already done so, download CPU-Z for msi for free.

So for me, both Ryzen5 2600X run like little speedsters. You have to push it forwards, of course, not sideways.

wo

And the msi afterburner, if you want to get even more out of the Niewiedia RTX 2060 Super.

Ma

Thanks for the super nice answer I have 2X 8GB ram bars with about 3200 mhz and if I overclock I then solved my fps drop problem

Ma

Yes, my power supply has 550 watts, do you think that's enough?

wo

Try out!

The Ryzen5 2600X is screaming for o.c!

wo

We meet here.
What kind of a 550W power supply?
Hansi

Ma

How does overclocking work?

Ma

The corsair CX 550M

wo

Well

easiest with the Ryzen Master.

Ma

Can I break something there?

wo

Yes,

this is a really good power supply. Doesn't need anything new, that's well covered.

Ma

Okay, that's good, but is it difficult or risky

wo

If you watch the video above, nothing can happen.

The CPU switches off when it gets too hot.

wo

Overclocking o.c. (Overclocking) your components is neither heavy nor risky. Just practice and a little careful attention and writing down.

Once you've done this a few times, it becomes routine.

Ma

Okay thank you wanted to ask the arctic Freenet CPU cooler now does not hold the professor up to a maximum of 60 degrees if I oc dan that will fit right? And one more thing when I have oc it was then with the fps drops when I look at complex things in Fortnite, for example

Ma

And when I have oc it was then that with the fps drops in more elaborate scenes, e.g. In fortnite, everything runs great

wo

Which Artic Freezer?

These things are good. The CPU also gets hot up to 90 degrees Celsius. This Ryzen can easily do that.

Fortnite Season 4 actually makes little demands on the CPU. The graphics card is not being used to the full. You can already choose full resolution.

Ma

Okay, I play fortnite season5 on full hd on low settings and so I sometimes have 100-90 fps when I look at cities that is tough

Ma

Got the arctic freezer 34 esports

Ma

I wanted to ask how much ghz and what voltage should I go

wo

But before you start playing

first run through benchmarking.

Download "Valley Benchmark" for free, it goes to GraKa.

Then "Cinebench" is a test for the CPU cores.

It is best to observe the whole thing with "HWiNFO 64".

Remember, as soon as you stream it also depends on the DSL line. So how fast is your internet. Or do you have a slow WLAN (Wi-Fi)?

Ma

Can I just do the benchmark in the program or in usernemchmark And why the graka

wo

Leave the CPU voltage like this for now. The clock to 4.2 GHz.

Then when you get practice you can still beat faster.

The Arctic Freezer 34 eSports with 2 fans is great. What color?

Ma

Does the GPU also have something to do with it
and the cpu on how much ghz and how much current should i oc

Ma

Color in black but only have 1 fan on it but otherwise a pretty good airflow

Ma

A black screen just happened nothing I set to 4200 and wait

Ma

Thank you set it to 4200 then pressed test and now I have a black screen and nothing happens 😰

wo

Black screen?

If you switch the computer on and off 3-4 times, it goes into automatic repair mode and clocks down itself.

Then start in the Ryzen Master at 3.8GHz and clock up in small steps.

Ma

Okay, thank you have just disconnected the pc from the power because nothing has changed now I'll try again

Ma

I have now tested it on 4ghz temperature was not over 50 degrees

wo

Do not disconnect from the power supply!

Just press the power button.

If the screen stays black 3 times then 3 times off before Windows 10 tries to load.

Ma

But the task manager still says 3.60Ghz

Ma

The switch did not do anything was dead but now it goes to 4 GHz but the task manager is still 3.60 GHz

wo

Watch the video again.

Before we change anything in the MSI UEFI BIOS.

Then test first with Cinebench.

Ma

I've already done a benchmark I'm playing fortnite

and what change in the BIOS

Ma

But when playing, the CPU is only used 40 percent

wo

At Fortnite, 40% is okay.

What did you adjust in the BIOS?

How do you control your graphics card?

I was just at my MSI computer and played around with the UEFI BIOS.

MSI CLICK BIOS:

Game Boost to ON

A-XMP on profile 2

OC still on "normal".

How can you play Fortnite?

Have you already stressed the CPU with CPU-Z?

Ma

I haven't changed anything in the BIOS yet, but fortnite doesn't run much better in my task manager, it says that I still have 3.6 GHz

Ma

That runs with xmp profile, I don't think so well had problems since. What should I do with my graka

Whenever I look at cities, for example, the frames drop hard to 100-90 although I actually want to play 165

Ma

I just stressed it was max 63 degrees warm

but always have nich fps drops what else can you do

Ma

Should I do the whole thing in the BIOS?

wo

Just applied the "Ryzen Master". That works fine.

On an msi X370 Gaming Pro with an ancient Ryzen7 1700 and water cooling.

It has a base clock of 3000Mhz.

In small steps.

And tested every step with "Cinebech Release20". This is very important.

The voltage increased in small steps to 1.3875V and the clock rate up to 3900MHz. A temperature of almost 70 degrees was reached.

I don't want to tease more out of it.

MY ADVICE:

Position in the Ryzen Master up to max. 1.375V and feel your way up to 4200MHz with the clock frequency.

And test with the Cinebench R20!

If that runs smoothly, then it goes to the graphics card.

E.g. With the MSI AFTERBURNER.

I think you want too much all at once.

You can play when the box is stable and fast.

wo

And,

when the Ryzen clocks well.

Then tomorrow we will test the graphics card with the afterburner.

And then find the optimal setting with the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Good night.

Ma

I have now completely normal over ryzen master oc on 4ghz then tested it with my own benchmark and ran stable the temperatures are excellent the voltage I have not touched

I did everything right because I didn't do a test via sinebench. Yesterday I played fortnite for about 1 hour, everything went great.

wo

Go up a little cautiously with the tension, it doesn't matter to an X processor. This restriction is merely a protection for the sellers.

Have you heard of the NVIDIA Control Panel?

But I'm sorry, I have to get some sleep now.

Ma

All good first, thank you very much for taking the time to help me
NVIDIA control panel I have yes the tension it plays a big role

wo

This is now for GraKa. The CPU should be optimally set beforehand.

Otherwise it makes little sense.

Don't play, optimize!

Ma

The CPU is overclocked to 4ghz and I didn't do anything with the GPU, what should I do now

wo

Hansi

Ma

I don't understand what you mean by optimizing

wo

I'm still looking for the easiest way to do it.

We'll do it tomorrow.

Ma

Very nice that you take the time, thank you
