Hi
My notebook a Packard Bell easynote TS 11HR -185GE is broken, constantly shuts off when I go for example. Fortnite wants to play because it just gets too hot. Fans, hard disks have already been replaced. And also the keyboard and the battery would have to be replaced because they are defective. Maybe it can synonymous with Windows 10 hang together, I do not know. In the past, Windows 7 always ran on it.
Since the battery costs 80 euro, the keyboard or even more + the renewed repair costs me now the question is worth it even the money to invest in the notebook?
It is finally 11 or 12 years old, I mean or it makes more sense now now to buy a new one for the price of up to 1000 euro (more is not possible), for example, Lenovo because Packard Bell it seems so no longer give or hot whose notebooks are different now?
Because the graphics card and the resolution, the processor is indeed no longer the best equipment because of the age. Installed is an Intel Core I7 -2630 square meters, 8 GB Ram, Nvidea Geforce GT540m 2 GB vram.
The notebook I'm thinking about is an Intel Core I7 of the latest generation, a NVidea GTX 1650 4 GB Ram, 8 GB Ram RAM (should be enough or if not to 16 GB you can upgrade it), a SSD 128 GB and an HDD 1 TB (think that is sufficient memory) and the screen resolution is better synonymous. The only thing that has strangely remained the old version is the Videocam with 750 HD.
What do you think about it should I have the old repair or buy the new?
And would you still have the old one repaired, renew everything and either keep it for emergency use as a replacement or sell it after the repair? And if selling what do you get for it? Original price was once at 1000 euro.
Is it really normal that the keyboard often goes kapus with notebooks and needs to be replaced if you play with it or was that only in the old notebooks so speak that were earlier unstable than maybe today?
And should I just take a 15 inch again or must it already be 17 inches?
Will use it on travel, for video editing, to play and work and maybe even with streaming (which was not the case with the old one). The best player I was with the old notebook not whether it was the technology or me I do not know the youngest, I'm unfortunately no longer synonymous.
Is there anything else I should consider? Have you had any negative experiences with any webshop and should I avoid it or does it really matter where I order it?
And I see it right that the said technology should already be present in the new and you should not take any with I5 right?
I'm looking forward to your answer and thank you for reading my question and perhaps also left a nice answer there.
Many questions short answer.
If you have a GTX 1650 in view, you have the same cheese as now. A GTX 1650 counts in the gaming almost to the minimum and is foreseeable outdated.
So save a little bit and put the graphics claims higher, so you have something longer from gaming.
So I think repair is not so cool.
would go with new purchase on NEN new Ryzen 2k or 3k
and more likely 1060 or rx cards if the notebooks in, do not know exactly
And with your requirements, I would recommend REAL 16GB ram. Costs at selbstupgrade if possible really little…
For the laptop there are probably still 100 euro, but not more.
Is all obsolete technology that may still be enough for Office.
Also, saving something would make more sense, because it should already be a RTX 2060.
The 1650 is just a low-end card and slightly stronger than a 1050TI.
