Why do I not manage 240+ fps in Fortnite (low settings) in all the videos that I watched then all 240+ fps I have about 144fps
specs:
Gtx 1660ti
i5 9400f
32Gb RAM (2666mhz)
H310 M Pro-VDH
240Gb SSD, 480gb SSD, 500GB Hdd
Yeah you don't have the strongest technology…
but what do you want with 240fps…
can it be that your monitor only has 144hz?
Because the pre shader of the graphics card and the core clock are not in harmony, which is why important pixel shaders are lost
This is due to the processor. Your processor is too "bad" to get that much FPS. Fortnite requires a lot of processor power. Most streamers have an i9 or comparable processor and therefore have so many FPS.
XMP profile loaded?
Is your PC getting too warm?
All drivers installed?
Windows settings set to "high performance"?
With an i9 9th gen you also get 400FPS
Ne monitor 240hz and 1 ms response time and actually the pc should manage 321 fps on low settings according to the page https://www.gpucheck.com/game-gpu/fortnite-battle-royale/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1660-ti/intel-core-i5-9400f-2-90ghz/
But not in Fortnite, the game is badly optimized.
So I have a Ryzen 7 3800x and in Fortnite I have 350-400FPS on low settings in FHD
Then play arena on 10k or comparable scrims in late game, but your FPS will no longer be constant. And that's exactly the problem in Fortnite.
In late game it is normal and the questioner said I don't think the FPS in late game either
But that's what I assume when he compares his performance with that of a streamer. These often play in a tight space (more players in a small area) and are in the late game. In addition, the late game is a normal part of it.
Nonetheless, I think we all agree that it's the processor.
2666mhz could be a problem as well
wrong fortnite settings.
Thanks Where can I find Windows high performance?
Thanks how can i change that?
Where you play faster
I did that but don't know where it was anymore😂
