New 3080 and how much fps?

Moin wanted to ask how much fps the new rtx 3080 with an i7 10700k creates in Fortnite. I use everything Los Settings and view distance epic. How much FPS can I manage in public, creative or stacked scrims lobbies

Ha

Only the benchmarks will show that

If the CPU doesn't limit (which it probably will) you should theoretically have twice as much as with a 2080

On low settings there should be no difference between the FPS and a current GPU model

Gu

As long as there are no benchmarks, hardly anyone can tell you. If you don't have a 240Hz monitor, that's overkill either way.

cl

WTF if that's true then I'll buy it save but thank you I'll give you a helpful answer

Nobody can tell you exactly at the moment because the tickets are not yet for sale but when the tickets are out you will see what they do

Ha

As I said, on low you are in the CPU limit anyway, the GPu does not help

It only becomes interesting in ultra settings and 4k / 8k

cl

Get me a 240 hz monitor

Aw

Definitely over 240fps minimum. If you wanted to buy the new cpu I would rather get a ryzen 5 3600x with a suitable board for pcie 4.0 that support the new rtx cards and I think they will be important in the future

rh

Something over 200. A 240 hertz monitor is therefore compulsory so that it makes sense

rh

But with that it does not come above 200 fps

cl

OK

rh

Since in this case the processor is limited anyway and not the graphics card because it plays on low, there are benchmarks. And many, because the 10700k is only slightly faster than the pretty much the same 9900k.

cl

Yeah

rh

Jo, the 3080 is simply completely exaggerated for what he intends to do with it. You can't compare that with anything at all. Like when you want to transport a pack of pasta and buy a 20 ton truck for it. Or. With the Formula 1 car to the bakery next door.

Aw

So he also comes to 500fps what are you talking about

rh

Check out benchmarks for fortnite with the ryzen 5 3600x on youtube

Aw

So I'm currently using a PCIe 4.0 system with a suitable CPU, mainboard, GPU and SSD. I 'only' have an RX 5700XT and a Ryzen 7 3800x and have 350-450 FPS continuously in Fortnite on low settings

Aw

These youtubers have no plan how to benchmark properly. 2 pcs with the same cpu and gpu do not necessarily have to have the same fps. I only speak from my own experience that I have a minimum of 350fps with my rx5700xt and ryzen 7 3800x in fortnite. And single core from ryzen 5 3600x and ryzen 7 3800x hardly differs.
