What is completely sufficient for the PC?

For Fortnite and Minecraft

16 GB (2x 8GB)

8 GB (2x4 GB)

jo

If I were to build a PC these days, it would only be 16 GB. However, 8 GB should be sufficient for both games.

Ma

Without lags or FPS drops

Join the answer from Gehilfling. 8 GB would be enough. But if you want to be prepared for the future, I would take 16 GB.

Ma

Without lag and FPS drops?

So

As you can see, 8GB of RAM cause small stutters in modern games:

Therefore and also to be prepared for the future, I would under no circumstances recommend 8GB.

pr

Take 16GB, 8 are in principle sufficient, but if there's some room for improvement, it does no harm.

You only need to watch a stream or listen to music that everything needs RAM. Every program you run alongside needs RAM, some more, some less.

Take 16GB RAM, then you are on the safe side, even if you install several mods.

Ma

Thank you.

ke

8 GB RAM is actually enough. If you include the future security and the current price, I would use 16 GB RAM.

Co

It has nothing to do with RAM. The graphics card / CPU is responsible for this

Ma

What if the CPU is an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G and the graphics chip Vega 8?

Ma

I would only do TS and MC at Fortnite I don't need anything and at MC vlt Mal Chrome

pr

Chrome is the browser that consumes the most power in the background.

Take 16GB, you won't regret it. At some point you will put the two games aside and start something else, at the latest you will be happy if you have 16GB RAM.

Then you come with 720p and all settings on low to 60fps:

If you want to play games smoothly, buy a graphics card.
