I'm taking care of 3 children (m3, w5, m9) until this afternoon and I'm a little shocked. I only know the family superficially. My wife's work colleagues and friends of ours, so to speak.
The man has to work spontaneously today, the woman anyway and that's why I'm with them now.
After breakfast (Milchschnitte and Actimel) I wanted to brush teeth with them. The children didn't even know that early on. According to the girl, this only happens in the evening. Then while brushing my teeth I saw her black teeth.
The 3 year old gets an understandable sentence. Still hanging on the bottle.
And the 9 year old has waited until his parents left and has been sitting at his console since 6:45 a.m. Playing Fortnite with any adults via video chat.
I have now written to mother about the big one. I'm not there for education, but I don't think that's possible.
Well unfortunately you can't change anything about it. Standard in many families
Actually already a case for the youth welfare office.
But unfortunately there are not as many suitable foster families as there are overwhelmed parents.
Because of unbrushed teeth and a console?
Our homes are full
They don't care about things like that.
There are enough families with REAL neglect
Unfortunately, that's the way it is in many families, the parents don't see their own mistakes and you can't do anything yourself, because it's bad enough to feel sorry for the children but not enough for the youth welfare office or any aid organizations.
but i know that from my own family, i only started brushing my teeth when i was 16: |
I agree with you, but that's how "careers" start on the downside, not upwards.
The "breakfast" (milk slices) says it all - the children are probably running "on the side" somehow
this also fits in with a lack of dental hygiene and self-sufficiency (console)
hold on and if they ask again, you don't have time…
You won't be able to change the lovelessness in this family (unfortunately)
What exactly shocked you now? That a three-year-old speaks badly, that tooth decay in the mouth or that a 9-year-old takes advantage of the parents' absence to gamble?
Breakfast is not breakfast but disgusting. That with the teeth is of course not good, but you can't change much except maybe convincing the children themselves that they should also brush their teeth in the morning.
The fact that a three-year-old doesn't speak properly should be kept in mind and treated, but that's not the end of the world, she's probably just a late talker.
And that a 9 year old takes advantage of it when the parents are out of the house to gamble is nothing unusual.
By the way, babysitting doesn't mean that you mess around on the sofa while playing on your cell phone.
If it bothers you so much that the big one is gambling, then do something with the children.
Black teeth go under the neglect chapter. You can actually display it. Fortunately, there are dentists who do that too.
I know an anesthetist who just a week ago gave a 4-hour anesthetic to a 4-year-old child whose entire dentition had to be repaired. Always occurs. Broken teeth have more far-reaching health consequences than a layperson would like to believe. A broken set of teeth is bad enough on its own.
Black teeth go under the neglect chapter. So you can actually sue for such neglect.
You are really attacking someone who at the moment doesn't even know what is happening to them and just takes a short breath and wants to sort themselves out?!
If something like this hits you unexpectedly, you can be confused and a little helpless. You can then also seek help.
Which rag is shocked by this? If you get shocked by it, life is really not for you
Because of something? So whoever is shocked by this also believes that life is a pony farm
All good. I don't even react to such people 😊
