How can I receive a Wi-Fi signal at a campsite (approx. 100 m linear distance)?

The campsite where I'm is sending 4G and 5G Wi-Fi signals, but you have to go to the office for reception.

I would like to receive the signal in my caravan and would have to bridge the approx. 100 m air line.

I probably need a Wi-Fi antenna and a repeater.

If someone had a link or tip on such equipment, I would be very happy.

The receive / transmit power should also be good enough to e.g. Gamble Fortnite.

A repeater will only help you if you can place it between the devices.

So if e.g. The router on the ground floor is the PC on the second floor, then you set up the repeater on the first floor.

Logically, this is not possible at a campsite because the repeater would then have to be somewhere in a bush or on a path.

You can try an antenna but I can't give you any guarantee of effectiveness.

First of all, 4G and 5G are cellular standards, with the classic WLAN they only have the wireless transmission in common.

I assume the campsite has a normal Wi-Fi access point that you want to surf over.

If the Wi-Fi signal is weak, the following trick helps (an external Wi-Fi antenna is required):

Take a suitable metal bowl (aluminum is also possible, it doesn't necessarily have to be steel) and attach the antenna (or stick) so that the whole thing reminds you of a satellite dish. Then you align the structure towards the AccessPoint. The bowl acts like a parabolic mirror. If you have positioned the antenna in the focal point of the WLAN waves (you can find out by trying it out) and the direction to the AccessPoint is correct, the WLAN signal should be significantly better. With this trick I have already saved some repeaters!
