Why does a Fortnite update take so long?

For me the Fortnite updates always last that long, I have a download speed of 54.8 Mbit / s and I have a LAN cable connected

this is not normal that it takes 30min-1h

If your hard drive is too slow, the data may not be saved quickly enough.
