Does the internet connection need to be good for fortnite if yes, how fast at least?

The strength of your internet connection is not crucial for online games. It just depends. That you internally (in the house) have a constant connection to your router. Much more important is the ping in online games. Unfortunately, I do not know if you can select Fortnite Server.
