As many have probably already heard Fortnite is in hype. But I see many Youtube videos people who hate Fortnite and immediately want it to be banned or something. I'd like to hear your opinion about the game as arguments like "This is a toddler game" or "This is a trait" are not very good. For discussions are also open, but please do not offend.
The fact is that Fortnite is clearly meant for the younger players. To each his own, I could honestly never make friends with the Battle Royale mode.
But I also come from a very different profession of games.
What I do have a problem, however, are children of the U10 age group who are not yet able to read and write properly, but can play Fortnite.
But the developers can't help it because the parents have a duty to put a stop to the whole thing.
Well it's a breeze and it's imitation.
I was looking forward to the release of Fortnite as it was supposed to be a Fortress Team shooter, with bases building and capture the flag, something that has not existed for years, then the last-man-standing hype and Fortnite became that Cheese that he is now, the developer's own idea would be thrown to the financial success…
But Fortnite is just the well-known example many other games have taken this path as well, there's just no one talks about it.
That's exactly the thing that I can't understand in most people. Most people think that Fortnite is bad for the kids.
For me it's generally the Battle Royale genre, people should have fun with Fortnite.
The success is probably that it is attractive for all ages and I think the Battle Royale mode is not a fake either. No one was upset that COD and Boyfriend are aftermath. But that's true, that of course you get upset when a good game concept is simply thrown away.
Rather, the kids all frolick in Fortnite than in my games.
In my played games, the children are now probably deterred more likely: -D
Battle Royal is so old and exhausted. Since no one has come up with something new because it was just run behind and his own game rumgerissen to make money quickly (of course, completely successful)
COD and Boyfriend are their own series, they are waiting for the same thing (even if it sounds stupid), but I take COD and Boyfriend Battle Royal mode even worse than Fortnite.
I played the game day and night since Season 2. Despite being made for smaller children, I do not find it bad when the older ones play. But it did not deserve the hype. I do not play it that much anymore (1 per week). I think it's just stupid when everyone has to talk about it and it's all about the victory. At the very beginning I built huge castles / houses with my friend. Since the win was not in question. What I mean by that is that it gets ripped too hard and I can't understand how the game was in hype for a year. For me, the game got worse through the whole update!
