So… I've been going to my father's weekend every 2 weeks for 4 years now and I'm always at home for 1 weekend. This weekend I'm back with my dad (normally) But on Saturday there's a Star Wars event in Fortnite which I would like to see. My father and my mother don't really like each other, never were together and always rushed against each other (both always have the opposite opinion) and I don't really feel like going to my father either, because I've had a lot of arguments. Now I want to see the live event, but I would not be at home and I do not want to cancel my father because of a game, but he comes when I say "yes I would like to look at it" Always with "Yes I did bought expensive or "I would be happy if you come here" and then I sometimes feel badly thinking about staying at home because of a game. But I would still like to see it myself and not watch it on YouTube because I stop, you could say "Hardcore Starwars Fan". But my mother always says "Yes, if you don't feel like staying at home", which I actually want, but I know that my father would be sad to me in a way My mother always says "Yes, he always just wants to control you", which also seems to me in part.
Well, I should go to him, although I don't feel like it.
Or stay home and have a bad feeling because I'm not driven to my father because of a game.

You had enough time to prepare your father that you didn't want to be with him on "his weekend" because you would like to spend your free time playing this game.
Sure, you can still call him quickly and explain to him why you want to sit out this time - but as you wrote yourself, he would probably be rather disappointed because he prepared something.
