There are, of course, the microtransactions on the one hand, and the kiddies on the other, which annoy everyone in the voice chat, but honestly, these two things are in many online games, and Fortnite seems to have more to offer. (No, I do not play the game myself)
I think that it is not a direct hatred of the game, but rather the general genre "Battle Royal". It is hyped so high, and clear that there are also against votes.
In my opinion, it keeps the balance between "love" and "hate".
That is the nature of man! We're too different. Everybody likes something the other person does not like. But I do not think you can talk directly about hate.
Personally, I do not like this colorful graphics and the actual game mechanics. But I do not hate the game. I just do not like it!
Finally, remember: You've been kids too!
Because people like to hate or like to swim against trends.
I do not like Fortnite either, but I understand why so many people like it best because of EPIC's very good updates and programming, which means hardly any bugs, etc. And of course, free to play accessible to everyone
