So, I want to play Fortnite on Linux.
Problem: Does not work.
I thought about installing it on my parents' PC, but my parents do not want me to install it there. I might be able to play it over a stick on her PC.
Any ideas? Or maybe man can install it on Linux?

Do you mean root rights? Well, to install Wine you definitely need root privileges just like any other program. You could also compile it manually by using Make. But no idea if you are familiar with the procedure.

If it's not running, you can use a virtual machine instead. In seamless mode, this integrates pretty well into the system.

Under Linux just not at all because of the anti cheat and since Fortnite does not have a Linux port you have to use Wine and under wine that just STILL does not work
For example, install VirtualBox and create a VM using a Windows installation medium. In this you can, as usual Windows, install Fortnite.
Linux is the absolute cheese to play with. Fortnite does not run on Linux.
Install Windows 10 and it's good. You can use Linux anyway.

Wine is a kind of emulation layer that allows running Windows applications under Linux. Wine is in my opinion only badly usable. However, there are currently solutions like Proton in Steam or Lutris that provide preconfigured versions of Wine for games. Fortnite does not work with this solution. The problem is probably not the game itself but the anticheating software that is integrated in Fortnite.
Linux in itself is quite suitable for gambling as long as you are satisfied with the native games as well as with the titles running under steam with Proton or Lutris on Wine.
