My 10 year old son only plays Fortnite what can I do about it?
Offer him something else to do with you.
Restrict the time on the computer for him and enforce it consistently. You are the legal guardian, it is your job to limit this to a healthy level.
Draw clear lines. I was addicted myself, unfortunately, but to stop this addiction you have to draw clear lines.
Find something that you could do together that distracts him from fortnite I know it from my 10 year old no brother my parents bought him a scooter because he really wanted one and so he is often outside at skate parks or just driving around with friends maybe your son likes one like that, too, then you can go to a skater park together and you can show him how to go down the ramps
Time on PC / mobile phone / tablet / console is limited. He can earn bonus time through particularly desirable behavior (help with washing up or something).
And this is done until he accumulates a heap of bonus hours over a longer period of time, although of course he must not know that in this case the measure will be terminated.
An e-scooter is not a good plan because you actually need a driver's license for it.

This is arguably the dumbest option you can do.
It would be much better to explain to the child what is happening there and etc.
Not e scooter but a normal scooter but for tricks e.g. From the NKD brand they don't cost much about 30-100 euro depending on which one takes

And for an e scooter you don't need a driver's license, only the minimum age of 14 years and if you buy your own you have to register it and you get a small license plate but you don't need a legal driver's license for it

It's cool BECAUSE you shoot others. If a 6-year-old doesn't understand that, it might still be possible, but at 10?
Children of that age look explicitly for games that they are allowed to play or where the parents allow it where exactly shooting at other players is the principle of the game.
Did it really not occur to you that the kids only told you what they think you wanted to hear?
