How do strict parents convince them to gamble?

I w / 14 like to gamble very, very much. Preferably every day too. I would never dare to do that because my mother is very strict. For example, when I exceeded 15 minutes of my time, I was not allowed to gamble for a whole week.
I can gamble for 1 hour on Saturdays and Sundays. Not at all during the week. I don't think so much…

my cell phone time is 1 hour 30 minutes every day, during the week and on the weekend.
my grade point average is 2.6 at a high school, so not bad either.

In general, I had real problems with her when, at the end of 13, I asked if I could play Fortnite. By the way, I can finally do that now. I understand how she's worried about Fortnite, like voice chat, and shooting game, but I think it's age-appropriate.
she thinks i'm addicted, just because i'm very ambitious to improve myself in games.

I also have 2 other hobbies besides gambling, so I don't understand the problem behind it.

Thanks for reading through.

do you have any tips

I already understand your mother. Your grades are not too good. You'd better learn more for school. Fortnite is definitely bad.

In 20 years you will understand and thank your parents for it in retrospect.

I'm assuming that you're worried that you could become addicted. I wouldn't see that as strict, but that your mother tries to save you from it. (My parents did too) Just because other parents are not interested in the welfare of their children and the children are allowed to gamble 8 hours a day. I always had that back then and wanted to gamble a lot more. My parents always set a limit for me, which I didn't understand either. I mean, my grades were worse, but that was always the case. I'm now 18 and can play as long as I want. You could try to show your mother that you are not that dependent on gambling. So just take a break and then ask when else if you can play a game but for 2 hours with your friends there lockdown and you are not allowed to meet.

Try to improve your grades. Or you negotiate a deal, for example a time voucher for every grade that is better than 2.0. Show her that you have the school under control, maintain social contacts, have enough exercise and help with the house.

If all of that is given and you don't neglect your other hobbies, I consider an additional 3 hours during the week to be quite appropriate. But the final decision is made by your mother.

To all people who mostly don't understand.

You earn more money with gambling than with a job, being employed somewhere. A lot of people don't seem to understand that.

No, no, no, you CAN make more money gambling, but how many people can do it? Exactly. 😉

Top arguments, bro.

Classic case of #adhominem, but the fact that you run out of arguments so quickly is disappointing. 😉

Is nothing but the truth. If you can't do anything, you won't be anything.
