What would you say to Fortnite? With good reason, please!
And PS Question: Would you recommend this game to an 11 year old?
I see absolutely no point in the game. Especially since an 11-year-old may not be able to handle it mentally as well as a 14-year-old. Many behaviors could also be memorized, which would not be the best thing for development. But in the end you have to decide for yourself what you want the 11 year old to play.
But in principle the violence in it is not the worst.
Once he is inside and playing with friends, there will be no more quiet minutes…
No.1: The game is from 12. So an eleven year old is not yet old enough.
No.2: Fortnite is probably the worst among the numerous battle royals and draws the most money out of your pocket.
No.3: Alternatives (not for 11 year olds): Call of Duty Warzone, Apex Legends
I played Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2 with 10/11. Fortnite is harmless, BUT it can happen that if you die often you become aggressive. You can often see that in younger players.
What should you memorize there haha. That is not a cod
No.1: It is a recommendation and not a law.
No.2: I agree with you.
No.3: Would maybe add PubG and Battlefield Firestorm. (BFV Firestorm is good, but due to the relatively bad marketing etc this is relatively dead)
Ever heard of USK? Entertainment software self control; an age recommendation. In addition, it is less than 1 year under, that does not make up for it anymore. The point is correct, but your argument is unfortunately poorly chosen.
Very general behaviors, like shooting people is normal. It's not about graphics, it's about ethics.
Thank you! Finally someone who finds Firestorm good too! I didn't call it because you have to wait long for a round and you have to buy Battlefield V to play it. Pubg is also an alternative.
So I (15, girl) like to play it, but an eleven year old might remember certain behaviors and "misunderstand" what would not be so good. If he were a few years older, I don't think it's a problem. But he should decide for himself whether he plays it or not
First: Thanks for your answer!
I mean: would it scare the violence?
No, not at all, because it is designed in such a way that at first glance you don't associate the world with violence. There's also no blood.
