I have a Dell Optiplex 7010. I wanted to ask if I can upgrade it so that I can play stable games like gta, csgo, fortnite etc. How expensive would this be and with which share?
Are you sure it's called that? I can't find it on Google or Dell.
Such prefabricated PCs with a small form factor and OEM parts are very difficult to upgrade. What have you currently installed? A new purchase is probably worth more.
Sorry prescribed 7010
What parts are there so far?
There are also a couple of optiplexes in MT design because it's much easier. You should now of course know which one the questioner has.
One i7-3770 and 8GB ram. Unfortunately, I do not know any more.
Power supply would still be important and how much budget you have.
I would say under the price of the ps5 400-500 euro. Where can I find the name of the power supply
But it's more the question of whether it's worth it. You will not be able to get much more out of an old platform and you will create more trouble with it than simply building a new one.
With new graphics cards, the CPU, the case, the cooling and the power supply are obstacles.
With new CPUs, the mainboard, the cooling and RAM interfere.
New power supplies, on the other hand, are only available in special formats
All in all, you swap so much for a meaningful upgrade that you actually only take over hard drives and then you can build a completely new one. Probably it's even more expensive because of special parts.
Gaming was never the purpose of the Optiplex.
To do this, you have to open the PC.
or simply the side panel.
Takes a little while I just have to turn it off but thank you.
No problem, please.
Just don't find the name, just assume that it has to be new
Simply what is there as a sticker. Or the model number is enough.
According to my research, you have a SmallFormFactor (SFF) case.

Basically only so-called low-profile Grakas fit into it.
Theoretically, an Intel i5 3470 (4x 3.2-3.6 GHz) with an Intel HD 2500 and 4GB DDR3 RAM should be installed.
You can check exactly that (e.g.) with Speccy, or CPU-Z:

https://www.heise.de/...pu-z-19564
For you, the GTX 1050ti (4GB), or (maximum) the GTX 1650 (4GB) in LP format would be possible. There are no faster LP grakas, or I don't know. Such a thing would be way too strong for your outdated CPU anyway.

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/...7696vs4039
Important: Both Grakas occupy two slots due to the "thick" cooler.
You can get a used GTX 1050ti (4GB / LP) on eBay and the GTX 1650 (4GB / LP) is practically only new:

https://www.hardwareschotte.de/suche/?searchstring=gtx+1650+low+profile
I would recommend a used GTX 1050ti (4GB).
And if you only have 4GB DDR3 RAM installed, I strongly recommend an upgrade to 2x4GB (1600MHz). More is absolutely not necessary for your system.

You also have to pay attention to your monitor!
You can almost forget games in FullHD with this CPU. At least "more up-to-date" or performance-hungry games can't be played properly with it.
I recommend a 22 "with 1680x1050 (16:10), or similar. Both of the suggested Grakas can handle this excellently and achieve quite high FPS.

(Only if there's actually a corresponding need…)
This lower resolution is particularly noticeable in more modern games. Because for "very good" games in FullHD you need a faster CPU and an even faster graphics card with at least 6GB VRam. And there are no such Grakas in low-profile format.
And as far as the theoretical game performance is concerned, you can have it calculated (roughly) in advance here:
https://systemanforderungen.com
=> i5 3470 + GTX 1050ti (4GB) + 8GB Ram + Win10 (64bit):
https://systemanforderungen.com / game / fortnite
(=> everywhere over 60FPS)
https://systemanforderungen.com / game / grand-theft-auto-v
(=> over 60FPS to FullHD, medium quality)
https://systemanforderungen.com / game / counter-strike-global-offensive
(=> everywhere over 60FPS)
And a good source for older and "frugal" games would be:

Above all, the games are very cheap in the current sales. And there are real pearls to be found.
Finally, I would like to advise you to buy an additional Sata3 SSD of 250 or 500GB. This increases the overall performance of this PC immensely. Especially when the operating system boots from it.
https://www.hardwareschotte.de/suche/?searchstring=sata3+ssd+250gb
https://www.hardwareschotte.de/suche/?searchstring=sata3+ssd+500gb
I suspect that there's only little space left in your case for it, but you can easily "attach" such an SSD somewhere in the case with Velcro tape…
I have already done this several times myself and used these extra strong Velcro pads:

Maybe a little addition at the end:
If the new graphics card should get over approx. 75 ° C under load, you could mill a suitable hole in the side of the side door and screw on a case fan (80, or 92mm) + protective grille on the outside. This then supplements the small front fan and so the graphics card can be kept cooler (and much quieter).
But that would be a possible addition for later.
I hope I was able to answer your question fully.
I just read that an i7-3770 should be installed.
So I recommend the (more expensive) GTX 1650 (4GB) in low-profile format.
This would also make a FullHD monitor usable for gaming. Whereby the 4GB VRam could possibly affect the graphics quality and the FPS.
Some data (e.g. "textures") are then reloaded again and again from the main memory. And that could lead to FPS drops.
If there are further deviations in the "accepted" hardware, you can change them accordingly in the links I have given.
Otherwise, what I have written still applies.
Many Thanks
