My son, 14, is currently always telling me about things, mostly calls from recorded joke calls that he can control somehow (Kripo "We would like to remind you to come to the hearing in the presidium tomorrow", DHL "I have your Parcel handed in at the Rewe cash desk, Ms. Schneider accepted it, but she won't be back until Wednesday ", or something else) and made me sweat at least at the beginning…
Now he's with grandma and grandpa tonight and I'd like to take revenge:-))
He has his PS4 upstairs, on which he has been playing Fornite with his buddies for 2 years, buying things like dances or weapons or whatever for some cyber currency. He's already put a lot of pocket money into it and all that sort of thing, it's his sanctuary.
Question:
As an absolute Fortnite layman, can I boot up the PS4 and do something that gives him a short scare when he answers tomorrow evening?
E.g. Hide your earned / purchased goodies, reset your character's progress (reversible!)? Show him a message that his account is blocked or something that makes a Fortnite kiddie really sweaty?
Or maybe something like a change in the BIOS of a PC so that the PS4 shows that the hard drive is not available, something that shows an error message when the PS4 starts?
Very important: It shouldn't be irreversible. I / he must be able to restore / reset what I may have changed with one click or very simply. He shouldn't lose his stuff and shouldn't suffer any disadvantages, he should just be really scared.
Does anyone have an idea?
I saw something there.
You create a new Playstation account. Sign out with the currently active account. (There are all of his scores, purchases, etc.) Sign in with the newly created account. He probably won't realize he's on another account until he goes into the game and sees that it's all gone.
You can cancel it and log back in with the old account and everything should be back to the old one!
Haha, that sounds good, I'll try that at the next opportunity.
But can you just play the same games (= Fortnite) with a new Playstation account as with your real one?
Since Fortnite is free, you can play it on any account.
Ok, but then I don't have to reinstall it somehow or something?
I have to take a look…
