I wanted to play more single player games. But before you give me recommendations, I ask you to read the following:

If you like RPG and SF maybe SWTOR would be good (PC), it also has a very good story, is free and relatively extensive.
Regarding fantasy, strategy and possibly still RPG Fire Emblem Three Houses (Switch).

If you would like a good story and atmosphere again:
Disco Elysium. One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Gameplay is not in the foreground, it is more like a pen & paper, fights are practically non-existent. It's about a cop in a fictional world suffering from amnesia and having to deal with a difficult past while solving a case. The whole thing is also packed with jokes about various political groups (from the far left to the far right). Heavy topics and funny moments alternate regularly there. Also got a game award for best narrative 2019. The art style is also very beautiful, goes in the direction of oil painting. Really the game that has inspired me most of the atmosphere and story in the past 2 years
The game sounds just right for me! I just looked at pictures and have to say that the game doesn't really look like it in my eyes due to the color choice but still has a charm (this is how it affects me at first). I'm also directly recommended videos with titles like: "The best role-playing game". The price seems a bit high at 40 euro, but you look as if you have any idea why I will probably get it.
At the beginning I thought the colors were funny too, but if you get involved they are quite suitable. Voice Acting is also very cool by the way, if you hear the first sentence in the game you will know what I mean.
