Do you have to accept the Battle Pass in Fortnite?

I gave the Battle Pass to my cousin in Fortnite half an hour ago. However, it did not arrive. Do you have to accept it somewhere or do you get some kind of message? It can't be up to me, the money is gone and the "receive gifts" function is on for both of us. I'm desperate I mean that was almost 8 euro for nothing!

Restart the game if that doesn't help. Write to support.
