Buy Fortnite Battle Pass now (level 50) or later?

I want to buy the Fortnite Battle Pass and don't know if I should do it now or if I'm at level 100 (if I can do it). The season only lasts until June 4th, i.e. 22 days. I'm currently level 50 and play around 5-6 hours a week.

Even if you can't make it, you get a total of 1,500 V bucks in the battle and free pass, which means that you should already have enough V bucks for the next one at level 70.

It's better because you get the stuff then.
