Pc controller is not recognized in Fortnite?

Plug the controller into another USB port
Restart Fortnite
Restart the PC
possibly to use another controller
try another account
Reinstall Fortnite (if it doesn't already work.)
In the worst case, reinstall the PC. (I wouldn't do that though. I would rather play with a keyboard or use a new controller)
