I have been playing a lot of fortnite lately and I often have strong lags, so I wanted to know whether I should upgrade my cpu or my gpu!
My PC:
Processor: Amd Ryzen 5 1400 quad-core processor
GPU: Radeon RX 570 Series
8GB ram
I would run the taskmanager and say smoothly that you would rather buy RAM 👌
Sure it's lags? Because they would come from the internet connection - no CPU or graphics card will help you.
Upgrade everything!

In CSGO it's a proud ~ 5% and in Overwatch maybe 10% after that I turned the video off

If you roughly compare the RX570 with the GTX 1060 6GB without a game, there's already a 23% difference.
Exactly without a game; but this is about games
So I always compare hardware. It's always about games. You don't compare hardware like you like e.g. GTA V RX570 80 fps, GTA V GTX 1060 6GB 90 fps 10% so you don't compare hardware! I used to have an RX570 in my PC with which I had 129 Fps in Euro Truck Simulator 2 Ultra setting. Now with my GTX 1060 6GB I have a full 160 fps and that makes a difference.
