I have an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER and if I use them to play games such as Fortnite wants to play which are GPU-heavy at first, then my CPU is used up to 80% and the GPU only up to a maximum of 30% …
I play on fairly performance-friendly settings. By the way, I usually have Discord and my browser open with a YT video or stream, but my CPU shouldn't be 80% full. But what worries me the most is why my GPU is usually not even used up to 20%, as if the game was running on the GPU, which of course shouldn't be.
I have no idea why this could be and I ask for an answer.
If the game runs smoothly for you, it is because the CPU just doesn't need a lot of power. Because why should the CPU unnecessarily work 100% all the time when it is not necessary.
If you are worried, you can try to download Sony Vegas with a trial version, play any test video and see if your CPU can then work up to 100%. Because rendering video over Sony Vegas is already CPU power hungry that almost always uses 100% of my CPU.
If it is the case that your games are lagging too, then you should either contact Netzeil or check whether your CPU is sufficiently cooled.
