Why do most professionals at Fortnite FPS in folders where you can't set ingame, such as 237 fps, what advantage does it have?!
This helps (depending on the setup) with freesync and g-sync to achieve a lower latency (i.e. Delay until the images are displayed on the screen) without losing many images.

In the case of a 60 Hz screen, but there's nothing to suggest that it does not work exactly the same with a 240 Hz screen. In the graphics, lower is better.
G-sync only works (correctly) if you have less fps than your monitor Hz. If you permanently have about 2-3 Hz less than the monitor, g-sync works optimally.

If you have a 60 Hz monitor with g-sync or freesync and a compatible graphics card (without g-sync or freesync that won't do you any good), then you should set it to 57 or 58 fps.
If you don't have g-sync or freesync, just leave it unlimited (or as high as possible).

Depends on your graphics card, if it delivers enough fps you don't have to. I don't care whether you have 300 or 400 fps. But when it comes to 60 or 80 I would put it down.
