I recently bought a PC (i7 8700k, RTX 2070 & 16GB RAM)
everything works perfectly and wonderful, except for Fortnite…
Every 10-20 minutes freezt the game and I can't do anything, not even turn off, my 2nd Monitor, I can still operate, only the picture with hangs.
I play with Controller connected via USB cable to PC and have noticed, if I ingame times the controller disconnect from the PC, it gladly times.
In addition, my ingame chat keeps bugging around.
Every 4min. I'll get a minifreeze and then my m8 will not hear me anymore, me neither. To fix this I have to go into the settings, voice chat and then turn it on again…
Ps: I have my Hyper x Cloud II stuck in the controller and not 7.1 extension in the PC because I then hear everything except ingame.
I hope somebody can help here, playing games Esports and it is stressful to be handled in such important cups or tournaments…: /
I think it's not the PC but the game. Otherwise delete and install Fortnite again. I think then it should all go again
Had a similar problem with fortnite… Had to delete my entire Windows and reload again but now Fortnite works again… If you have 3 hours and ready to delete everything I would do it but first try to uninstall with fortnite and again to install

Not for me, so have my complete system reinstalled Windows
