I have been dealing a lot with technology since I have a PC. However, I'm still quite ignorant and careful about what overclocking e.g. Come on. Just trust me to install the drivers XD.

Well, in any case, I have now ordered a 240hz monitor and would also like to keep the 240hz constant. I recently inquired a little bit about Ram and know that I somehow need a high RAM clock rate to achieve more fps… Move by the way between 180-240 fps on low settings in games like fortnite or Overwatch…

To get to the point. I have 2x 8gb ddr4 ram with 3000mhz clock speed and the b450 pro vdh plus, where the ram 2666mhz basic clocks I think. But when I call the ram clock rate under power in the task manager, it says 1467mhz.

Why is that?

An

DDR means double data rate so 1500mhz equals 3000mhz

Ru

Is double data ram, you have to calculate 2 times. 1467x2 are 2934Mhz.
