I reset the pc a month ago. Before I reset the pc, I had no problems with the fps in games (fortnite) everything was normal. After resetting, I usually had a lot of still images every 10 seconds or something. The temperatures of my components are okay. I have an i7-8700 1060 6gb 16gb ram. I've already optimized the pc, but it didn't work!
Maybe something went wrong with the reset
Too often, pc optimization programs do exactly the opposite.
In the case of the temps, please do not say "are ok" but state the values. I've already had people who said "Temp is full of green" and it was over 90 degrees.
A PC reset unfortunately very rarely solves a problem a complete reinstallation with deleting the old partitions (you can do it with the Media Creation Tool from win) is something completely different.
And if the temps are really ok, the most common problem is that a hard drive can't keep up. This usually happens with slow HDDs or when the game and OS are on the same SSD.
Have you checked whether all drivers are updated
Task manager see if what is busy Check drivers, check the 1060 Geforce Experience and the software from the graphics card manufacturer, monitor connected to the graphics card and not the mainboard, Windows updates And in the last case check the Bios version etc.
Please get an anti-virus program
I would completely reinstall the drivers there. Also check all the settings.
